Description | Situated within Laurentian University’s Centre for Research in Human Development, the Master of Arts or Science in Human Development (DEVE) is one of the few bilingual interdisciplinary programs of its nature in Canada. The DEVE program integrates knowledge from the fields of Psychology, Sociology, Human Kinetics, and related disciplines to provide a broad understanding of human development over the lifespan. Through core and elective courses as well as personal research, students are given the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge from an interdisciplinary standpoint under the supervision of faculty from varying academic backgrounds.
Available on a full-time or part-time basis, the program provides students with the skills needed to complete their education and begin a career or to further pursue post-graduate studies in human development, psychology, sociology, kinesiology, gerontology, public health, medicine, or related fields. | | |
