Description | The 30-credit multidisciplinary Gerontology Certificate program is designed to introduce students to the field of gerontology in order to increase knowledge about old age and improve the quality of life in old age. It is based on a transactional model of learning with a focus on biomedical, psycho/social, environmental/cultural, and religio/ethical aspects, and aims to provide students with a holistic understanding of aging.
The certificate is available through full or part-time studies to all students. It can be combined with a specialization or concentration in another discipline. | | |
