DescriptionThe Social Work and Women’s Studies program can lead to careers in child and youth protection services, women’s shelters, sexual assault treatment centres, community development agencies, hospitals, correctional services and schools. Our Social Work and Women’s Studies program is unique in North America. We focus on social justice in its broadest sense. You will learn how race, social class, religion, and sexuality shape gender and society.

You will also learn the specialized knowledge and skills needed to make a positive difference in the lives of others. In your fourth year, you will apply what you have learned in a local human service agency.
