DescriptionThe Associate Certificate in Industrial Wood Processing (IWP) is designed to prepare program graduates with the knowledge, critical thinking and technical skills to advance to supervisory positions within their current organizations in the North American lumber sector. The program is a valuable component of an on-boarding strategy for new employees without a background in industrial wood processing, as well as for any employee who has not received formal education in the field.

The program is designed to be completed by a cohort of up to 24 students over a 12-month period. The cohorts can be recruited from a single company, or can be a mixed cohort made up of students from a number of lumber companies.
