DescriptionWhat does a soup can and a NASA space shuttle have in common? Mechanical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering is a part of many everyday items and activities and helps us develop some of the latest technologies revolutionizing our world. As a Mechanical Engineering student you will study the planning, designing, construction and maintenance of equipment used in manufacturing, as well as the finished consumer product. You will explore elements of motion, aesthetics, thermodynamics and much more in order to understand how mechanical systems work – from individual parts to large systems – and how to improve functionality. Our Faculty of Engineering offers a unique four-year Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB), with an optional co-operative education component. The design of our program courses also grants you a Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma at the end of second year which will allow you to enter into the workforce as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist if you don't wish to pursue the final two years of the degree program.
