DescriptionThe Comprehensive Health Care Aide program by Distance Education enables students to become skilled with the tools required to help those who need it most. If you are caring, compassionate, sensitive and respectful to people of all ages and cultures, you may enjoy becoming a health care aide. Typical tasks may include dressing or assisting with hygienic needs; serving meals and feeding patients; lifting and moving patients or assisting them to walk; and observing and reporting patient conditions. This program teaches skills that employers require to meet the health care needs of our communities.
