Requirements for Canadian Students

Anyone 16 years or older can apply for undergraduate studies regardless of previous academic achievement. Students are not required to have a high school diploma. Enrolment in some programs or courses, however, may require students to have specific levels of prior academic achievement. Requirements for graduate studies vary between programs. Consult the AU calendar or Web site for specific information.

Procedure for Canadian Students

Year round admission and registration is available for undergraduate programs and courses. Students are admitted to the institution and programs on a continuous basis. Consider postal and processing times when a particular start time is desired. Graduate programs and e-classes follow a more traditional semester based schedule. New students can do a self assessment to determine if distance learning is suitable. Counsellors and advisors can help clarify educational goals or career directions. For more information, consult the AU calendar or Web site.
