Description:

The Computers in the Workplace program is a nine-credit program that consists of four courses: Introduction to Computers, Keyboarding, Word Processing and Spreadsheets. It is designed to train adults who want to acquire skills that will help them to better compete in the local labour market. The program offers skills training in computer literacy. It will build computer skills that will help adults gain confidence in the emerging technology of the workplace.The student will also be able to access opportunities in distance education.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Possess a Grade10 education or ABE English 130 and ABE Math130.
