The F.C. Manning School of Business Administration offers both a comprehensive understanding of business fundamentals and the opportunity to pursue your choice of specialization. Working closely with your professors, you can major in accounting, business technology management, employment relations, entrepreneurship and innovation, finance, and marketing. Applicants are required to have English 12 or English 12: African heritage, and four additional Grade 12 Academic or Advanced courses, including: Grade 12 English with a minimum 70% and Mathematics 12 or Precalculus 12. Minimum overall average of 70%.
Test Scores:
  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 90]
Application Notes : Since English is the language of instruction at Acadia University, candidates must be able to communicate competently in English both orally and in writing, and students whose first language is not English may be required to present the result of the TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL or PTE Academic. Acadia's English requirements are as follows: TOEFL - 90 IBT with no subtest score below 20; IELTS - 6.5 with no subtest score below 6.0; CAEL - 70 with no subtest score below 60; PTE Academic - 61 with no subtest score below 60; Cambridge English: Advanced - 176 with no subtest score below 169; or MELAB - 80.
