The Major in Biblical & Theological Studies will invite you to explore the context and history of the Bible as well as its reception, interpretation and use in the Church, academics and popular culture. You will study the language, transmission and enculturation of the Bible and discover the relationship between the text and contemporary life. Faculty will bring the insights of broader academia into the conversation, inviting diverse voices in the service of strengthening and clarifying the Bible’s impact on Christian thinking and its service to Christian community. |
