Description:

The world needs sustainable energy sources. This integrated Master’s degree gives you a solid grounding in the issues that energy engineers face. Successfully completing the MEng course allows you to gain a deeper understanding of the subject than the BEng course. It also means that you graduate with a Postgraduate level qualification, which can give you an advantage in the job market.

The energy industry generates and distributes electrical power on a large scale, but there is also a growing need to improve how we all use energy in our daily lives. Renewable and sustainable energy sources are becoming more and more important. We aim to give you a good grounding in both electrical and mechanical principles. Not only that, we will also look at the commercial side of the industry to help develop your business acumen. In your final year we will give you the chance to work on projects, helping you to gain experience of leading teams and managing people.
