Description:

The energy industry generates and distributes electrical power on a large scale, but there is a growing need to improve how we all use energy in our daily lives. Renewable and sustainable energy sources are becoming more and more important. This course helps you understand the issues and develop your skills to find employment in the energy sector.

We aim to give you a good grounding in both electrical and mechanical principles. Not only that, we will also look at the commercial side of the industry to help develop your business acumen. You could develop skills in a range of power generation technologies, including nuclear, wind, tidal and solar, as well as the more traditional fossil fuels.
