Description:The purpose of the Bachelor of Physical and Health Education - B.P.H.E. is the academic preparation of the individual through theory and field work with the focus on physical and health education in society, in the context of educational, leisure, and competitive situations.

The Sport and Physical Education program (a.k.a. SPED) provides for the academic preparation of the student through theory, activity, and internship classes with the focus on physical education and sport in the context of educational, leisure, and competitive situations.

A personal profile and 2 matrix reference forms are also required. Ontario secondary school students who apply for admission to first year at Laurentian University must present an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), as well as at least six grade 12 4U/4M courses (as specified in each program listing) with the minimum grade requirements.
