For those looking to develop a career in the competitive world of government, NGOs, international consultancies or think tanks – as well as in the legal profession – an LLM is an important asset. There are numerous pathways to choose from at Middlesex, including this general LLM.

In light of COVID-19 and the need to prioritise a safe, academic community. LLM modules are, in general, delivered on-campus each week. Some optional modules may potentially be delivered on-line. All decisions in relation to the mode of delivery will be made in line with Government advice.

  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5]
Application Notes : You must have competence in English language to study with us. The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.5 (with minimum 6.0 in all components). We also normally require Grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification.
Additional Admission Requirements:
    The University's standard entry requirement consists of a Law degree at 2:2 or Graduate Diploma in Law/CPE.


    Graduates in related disciplines, with law minors or with relevant professional experience or qualifications may be admitted subject to the programme leader's discretion.


    Other non-UK qualifications will be considered in accordance with NARIC guidelines.
