|Description:||Whether you are aspiring to a management role or are looking to upgrade and remain competitive in the public sector, this program will give you the tools to think and act strategically, developing long term big picture objectives and seeing how implementation plans will support them.
As a graduate, you can continue into the Certificate in Local Government Service Delivery, developed by the Local Government Management Association of BC and administered through the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development. This cost estimate is for the entire program and only covers tuition fees. The internship work term costs an additional $580 ($1350 for international students).

Admission to all academic programs is based on meeting one of the following English proficiency levels: completion of BC English 12 with a C+ or better; overall Academic IELTS score of 6.0 with no individual band less than 5.5; TOEFL iBT score of 83 with no score less than 20 on each level; or Camosun English assessment. You can also apply for English upgrading in order to meet your English proficiency for program admission. Academic IELTS and TOEFL iBT scores must be from within the past two years. For TOEFL we require an original document from ETS to Camosun College: Destination (DI) Code: 7527.
|Additional Admission Requirements:||
Applicants are required to have proof of an accredited credential from a recognized post-secondary institution. Applicants are also required to submit a current resume detailing employment background, volunteer experience and academic background, and a listing of post-secondary and professional development activities completed, a letter of recommendation from a current or recent employer; and, a letter of intent describing career goals.
