|Description:||This apprenticeship program is designed to provide students with the theoretical principles and trade skills required for careers as electricians. The program also fulfills the in-school requirements of the Provincial Construction and Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship program.
The in-school portion of the program consists of one 8 week session at the basic level, followed by two 10-week sessions at the intermediate and advanced levels. In the basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, students take courses in prints and standards, electrical principles, practical installations, electronics and work in a variety of specialty areas. Students spend approximately one-half of their time at the Campus.
