Description:

The Dental Assisting program at CDI College trains students for careers in the dental field. During the program, students will learn about dental care, pharmacology, oral pathology, and dental radiography. The Dental Assisting program will also help train students to prepare patients for treatment, assist dentists during treatment, perform infection control procedures, maintain patient records, and other office duties. This diploma program trains graduates to become useful members of any dental office team.

Students who are looking to upgrade their skills can also take the Expanded Training in Orthodontics program.

    The minimum requirements for admission to CDI College is a high school diploma, unless otherwise specified in the program outline. Where applicable, applicants must provide proof of graduation at the time of enrollment or by the first day of class. Applicants who have not achieved a high school diploma can apply as a mature student. All applicants must provide proof of age and pass an entrance exam.
