This year long foundation in Science and Engineering aims to: develop your study and analytical skills in preparation for study in science and technology; enable you to sample a number of subject areas from science and engineering in order to consider potential subject areas for future study; develop an understanding of knowledge in selected areas of science and engineering; and provide a sound knowledge upon which to base further undergraduate study by allowing entry onto one of a selection of Higher National Diploma and degree courses within the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
