Description:

This long established and highly respected course will train you to become a British Sign Language/English Interpreter and help to enhance the value of the role you play working with, or for, the D/deaf community. You will have the opportunity to develop your British Sign Language and Interpreting skills to an enhanced level using a range of in class and online interactive and innovative teaching and learning methods. You will engage in intensive study incorporating practical, analytical and theoretical aspects of culture, language, interpreting and professional skills, and have the opportunity to undertake a work placement in your third year.
