Description:This two-year Ontario College Diploma prepares students to survey, monitor and control radiation exposure in the nuclear industry and natural environments and implement preventive measures that are critical to ensuring the safety of employees, members of the public and the environment.

Students develop their knowledge of national and international regulatory frameworks with a focus on compliance within radiation protection procedures. Students quantify and qualify radiation hazards in order to provide control, guidance and information to personnel that minimize radiation exposure and control contamination.
