Description:

Our MEng Civil Engineering degree, validated as a four-year course in 2014, is a fast track to the top of the civil engineering profession. It covers much of the same ground as the BEng qualification, while being additionally equivalent to an MSc degree. Your degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators, which is made up of the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, and the Institute of Highway Engineers.

In order to see it through, you'll have to be confident of your academic ability. To join the course you'll need to have at least 120 UCAS points (new tariff), including both A2 mathematics and A2 physics.

Students who are doing well in the second year of the BEng course are given the option to switch to this MEng Course, adding another year of study.

Remember, because there are no general education courses, you can earn a bachelor's degree in only 3 years at UEL — 4 with an integrated master's.
