Description:

Flexible and available on a part-time basis, the BBA program emphasizes core management education to give you the knowledge and skill sets needed to effectively lead, control, and operate contemporary organizations.

The Co-op option allows a student to obtain a BBA within four years, including one year of work experience. Co-op placements normally take place over the summer following the second year of the BBA program and over the January to August period preceding the fourth year of the BBA program.

Applicants are required to have: 1 grade 12 English U/M course, 2 grade 12 U/M Math courses (Advanced Functions recommended), 3 other grade 12 U/M courses, and a minimum overall average of 70% in the 6 best grade 12 U/M courses.

  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 230] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 88]

Additional Admission Requirements:
    A student wishing to pursue the Co-op option must obtain a minimum grade of C for the following courses: COMM 1006, 1007, 1106, 1056, 1057 and 6 credits COMM at the 2000 level before the first Co-op placement. The student must also pass an interview within the Faculty of Management. Co-op placements can be credited as COMM 3216 (3 credits) for the first placement, and COMM 4215 (6 credits) for the second placement, when the student satisfies the requirements for these courses.
