Description:

The History, Law, and Society Major is designed to serve as an interdisciplinary crossroads of the fields of law and history. The major is designed to encourage a liberal arts education across the University curriculum, in keeping with the ideal of law as a “liberal profession” in which free thinking, academic mastery, and intellectual rigor are encouraged through a variety of disciplines. Students may enroll in this major as an informal pre-law major or as a complement to other areas of study.

You’re encouraged to apply early as priority for admission and scholarship is given in earlier rounds. The first deadline for fall admission is November 15th. The first deadline for spring admission is October 1st.
