Description:

The Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Science offers a Major in Computer Science with a possibility for students to choose a track in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).The major prepares students who are capable of applying computational and quantitative methodologies to a wide variety of subject areas, who can communicate their knowledge efficiently, and who can work and study in interdisciplinary teams. Students will understand the theoretical underpinnings of the field of computing and software development, and be prepared to work and continue to learn in a field in which radical change is the normal condition.

The track in ICT is more flexible allowing the students to flavor the computer science core with complementary courses according to their wider interests like: business, economics, communications, art history, or psychology.

Students with GPA higher or equal to 3.5 (for the CS and ICT courses) are eligible for the Honors Program of the Department for CS majors.
