Description:

Our BA(Hons) Drama and Acting will give you a firm foundation in all aspects of theatre making, but with an emphasis on acting throughout. It balances a practical focus with underlying acting theory. You will look at the connections between performance, philosophy, psychology and historical context. There is a strong focus on employability throughout the course.

Drama and Acting is based on Bristol's historic waterfront at the Arnolfini. Situated above this internationally renowned centre for contemporary art you will be at the heart of Bristol's creative and cultural community, with access to UWE Bristol's City Campus and all it has to offer.

You will have great enthusiasm, a love of live performance and a willingness to work hard and be challenged. Ours is a supportive theatre community, where staff and students work closely together, sharing ideas and collaborating on many productions. Our graduates emerge as independent, confident and highly creative individuals who can operate in the real world.
