Description:

This three-year Bachelor of Science degree provides a foundation for understanding contemporary issues, debates and methods in Educational Psychology and explores the relationship between theory and practice supporting the development of children and adolescents in a range of contexts. Educational Psychology incorporates a variety of psychological fields such as social, neuro, biological and cognitive psychology. Our comprehensive approach to this course provides students with the understanding to apply a wide range of methods and practices to real world settings, problems and contexts. Upon graduating, you will have developed a range of transferable skills and an advanced understanding of the way that psychological theories and research influence child and adult learning in educational settings. Educational Psychology has been designed with employability learning integrated at every level and will prepare you for employment within a range of services for children and young people.

    Canadian High School diploma holders (Grade 12 graduates) are usually accepted, subject to meeting the minimum entry requirements of the University. Please note that Grade 11 mathematics and English and/or above are usually required for most academic courses.
