This one-year graduate certificate program will provide rigorous training to business and IT professionals who are interested in working in the business analyst role. This intensive program is designed to meet the growing industry demand for IT Business Analysts by providing the flexibility to meet the training needs for both those in the business field and those in the IT field. Students select courses from either the business stream or the IT stream, based on their background and specific training needs. The IT Business Analyst facilitates change in an organization that results in sustainable value for stakeholders by supporting continuous technology and process improvement.
The program of study teaches students the techniques for creating and managing organizational process change. IT Business Analysts gather, document and communicate stakeholder requirements, recommend solution, evaluate solutions and provide quality assurance. The work placement in the third semester of the program provides students with the necessary applied, hands-on experience industry demands. |
