Description:

Applications are currently being accepted for the Community-Based Bachelor of Education After Degree (BEAD) Program offered at Cumberland College in Nipawin. Eligible students will be accepted to join the cohort in September 2015.

The BEAD Program is designed to provide a unique cohort model of teacher education which supports potential students, who already have a first degree, in becoming teachers within their own communities.

A teacher can support the joy and wonder of learning that will last a lifetime. The BEAD in Elementary Education prepares students to have a significant, positive impact on the future lives of young people.

The diverse base of the BEAD in Elementary Education Program equips students to work with young people, families, community members, and colleagues in and outside of education. Teachers can help to shape equitable learning situations for all children.
