Description:Now recognised as a profession in its own right, demand for qualified interpreters to work in the public services is growing. At the same time, the professional landscape is changing, as new technologies such as video-mediated interpreting develop and working practices change.

This is a 45 credit course which prepares students for a successful career in Public Service Interpreting and Translation (PSIT). It also trains students for the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) exams.
