|Description:||Focused on preparing students to work in the era of ‘big data’, this programme provides students with a broad range of expertise across the main areas of business and management (such as marketing, operations management, finance, accounting, strategy and human resource management) together with specialist modules which will equip them to understand the dynamic data-driven elements of the business world – from the data behind the internet to global supply pipeline logistics management.
The four year option offers students the opportunity to undertake either a year-long or two six-month industrial placements. These will be invaluable in helping the student to gain real-world experience and network with leading business thinkers and many companies go on to hire their placement students on graduation. Students do not need to decide on application which placement route they prefer – they can choose their preferred option in their first year of study.
