Description:CSU’s Bachelor of Border Management equips students with the fundamental knowledge and skills in the field of customs and border management and has been designed for people engaged in government and in the trading community nationally and overseas. This course has been designed with industry, government and international agency collaboration, including the World Customs Organization (WCO) in conjunction with the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies (CCES). CCES is the world’s leading provider of training and education in the highly specialized area of customs and border management.

Customs and other aspects of border management play a vital role in the economy, trade and national security of all countries. This creates demand for government agencies and private sector companies to develop expertise in these areas. The course is practical and draws heavily on case studies and assessment directly relevant to the students’ workplace enabling them to integrate their learning with their work through areas including law, economics, and management. Graduates will have advanced knowledge and expert skills in the field of international trade, regulation, trade facilitation and administration for professional work in business or the public sector involved in international trade.

Admission Requirements

Test Scores:
  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages: Certificate in Advanced English [min. 52]

Applicants who have not undertaken and completed sufficient study in English will be required to take one of the above noted tests with accompanying scores.
