Whether they’ve lost someone close, had an unpleasant experience or even come through illness, they may need to reach out for help and support. This course combines the theory of psychology with practical counselling approaches, helping you build the skills required to help people in need.

On the course we’ll take a research focus, looking at the theory and practice of counselling and psychology, all with an aim to help your personal development during the three years. Throughout the course you’ll be guided by specialists in subject areas like biopsychology, developmental psychology, personality and individual differences, and counselling psychology.
