Our Nursing (Learning Disability) BSc(Hons) degree regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) could be a great place for you to take the first steps towards making a huge difference to people’s everyday lives.

Learning disability nursing involves working with people who have a range of learning disabilities, providing hands on care in relation to people’s complex physical, social and psychological needs. They work in a number of settings, including the individual’s own home, schools, respite units, hospitals and secure services. They work independently and in multidisciplinary teams, with other professionals, teaching how to respond to the needs of someone with a learning disability.
