Trillium College’s Massage Therapy program introduces you to a variety of Swedish massage techniques manipulation techniques to treat stress, pain, and other physical conditions or disorders. You will develop the specialized knowledge and skills to systematically assess clients’ needs, formulate comprehensive clinical impressions, develop specific treatment plans and evaluate clients’ progress and treatment outcomes. Our curriculum emphasizes client focused care and is designed to facilitate your growth as a health care professional in order to become a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
A diploma in Massage Therapy can open the door to a new career where you can work for yourself or an employer – the choice is yours! The program at Trillium College will provide you with in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and allow you the options to offer both relaxing massage therapy to clients or address musculature and conditions that can be remedied through massage. The Massage Therapy program is designed to develop the specialized knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary for conducting a systematic client assessment, formulating a complete clinical impression, and developing a specific treatment plan. Students learn to perform safe, competent, and comprehensive massage therapy while constantly evaluating the outcome and consulting with the client. |

Applicants are required to have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, or passing score on the Wonderlic SLE entrance exam, as well as a senior Science high school course (grade 11 or 12) with a minimum grade of 60%, or Pre-science course with a minimum grade of 75%.
