Description:Students enrolling in this program gain a firm foundation in both classical and contemporary social theories. They are also exposed to a variety of research methodologies and techniques. The goal is to enable students to question their assumptions about how the social world operates, to encourage students to consider what responsibility and opportunities they may have to make the world a better place, and to equip students with the skills (critical thinking and research methods) they need to find meaningful work or pursue graduate level studies upon graduation.
