|Description:||In today's world, information systems and operations management are critical to every organization's success. The Information Systems and Operations Management courses provide students with quantitative analytical techniques, application of state-of-art technology, and strong business foundations. Students will develop an understanding of the role of information technology and operations in organizations and throughout supply chains, and will learn how they can jointly affect the performance of organizations. Students will also acquire skills to integrate information technology with various business processes, and to manage product and service in the supply chain.
Information Systems is concerned with the use of emerging information technologies in business organizations. Particular focus in on the analysis, design and use of computer-based technologies in support of day-to-day operations. You will acquire an in-depth understanding of the business applications of information systems in a world increasingly dominated by e-commerce.
