|Description:||The Radio and Television – Radio program delivers intensive hands-on training through a non-traditional approach, providing students with experience in all operational aspects of broadcast media. Along with instructor-led lectures and classroom study, students will also take on job functions at the NAIT radio station, NR92. Students learn announcing, writing, news/sports, sales, audio production and related equipment operation, plus coordination of music, news and commercial scheduling systems.
Graduates of the program typically find entry-level employment in commercial radio stations, television stations, production houses and recording studios. Some graduates find challenging positions in large business organizations having their own production facilities.
