Description:The Construction Engineering Technology program provides students with a broad knowledge of the management, estimating and technical aspects of construction, with a primary focus on commercial and residential buildings and related support industries. Students develop practical knowledge and skills in construction project planning, contract administration and sub-trade coordination, drawing interpretation, sketching of details and site surveying. Skills are taught in an environment that allows the student to develop communication skills and attitudes compatible to success as a construction engineering technologist. Typical employers include construction firms, government agencies, construction material manufacturers and suppliers, property developers and consulting firms.
