|Description:||Graduates will be able to assist and contribute in the various phases of engineering projects. The 2-year program or 2.5-year co-op program offers the student a thorough education in theoretical and practical applications in the broad field of civil engineering. Students have the opportunity to apply microcomputers and computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) systems to civil engineering problems in the areas of: applied research, structural design, urban services design, project management, highway design, pavement design, geotechnical design, and foundation design.
Faculty and students in the School of Applied Sciences and Technology are actively involved in applied research projects, working with industry partners to solve real business challenges.
