|Description:||The objective of this program is to provide students with an education to the level of engineering technologist. The 2-year program or 2.5-year co-op program offers the student a thorough education in theoretical and practical applications in the broad field of civil engineering.
Students have the opportunity to apply microcomputers and computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) systems to civil engineering problems in the areas of: applied research, structural design, urban services design, project management, highway design, pavement design, geotechnical design, and foundation design. Graduates of this nationally accredited program work in planning, design, drafting, surveying, construction, inspection, testing and sales for a wide range of employers.
