This program is suited to those who have a serious interest in how music communicates meaning, both in terms of its own construction as well as in the way it is and has always been shaped by social and historical forces. Students may concentrate in history, or in theory, or choose a balance of the two.

  •  Grade12 English 

Present six appropriate Grade 12 U or M courses, including English ENG4U or Anglais EAE4U. A maximum of 2 music courses may be counted toward the 6 Grade 12 U or M course requirement. Applicants who present appropriate combinations of Grade 12 U/M and OAC courses will also be considered. The "out of school" component of Grade 12 U/M co-op courses will not be accepted for admission purposes.
