By combining history and sociology, you study central questions about society, and explore how they apply to key moments in time.
At Sussex, you engage directly with artefacts of international interest in relation to social history. The Mass Observations archive, with journal entries that give a snap-shot of everyday life in the 1940s, is housed at The Keep, a state-of-the-art archive conservation building located next to our campus. Plus you learn from leading experts in both fields. Our research influences ground-breaking debate and attracts a range of specialists to campus. |
