Using our purpose-built sport and exercise labs and sporting facilities you’ll work with athletes including external and university sports teams. You can also undertake work placements to further enhance your CV. In the past students have worked with organisations such as Gloucestershire Cricket Club, Bristol Rugby and Swindon Town Football Club.
In your first year you will build your knowledge of the key disciplines including anatomy, biomechanics, physiology and psychology. You will then use this knowledge to underpin the more specialised modules later in the programme. You can also tailor your studies to suit your interests, focusing on specialisms such as fitness and health, performance sport, and nutrition.
