Description:

If you're passionate about making a difference by using education to improve people’s lives, then Education Studies gives you the tools to do just that. As well as the core education modules, you can take modules from other courses at the university such as history to work within museums, or youth modules to go into youth work.

You will complete work placements and volunteering so you can put theory into practice and gain valuable experience and contacts. Students have worked for Camp America as well as animal shelters, schools and charities. Sustainability and social justice are threads that run throughout the course. Modules such as 'Education for Change' tackle global issues of inequality.
