|Field of Study:||Biology/Biological Sciences, General
|Description:||Practical experience is central to the course. Many modules include field or laboratory work to ensure you develop a good understanding of the underlying science, and the skills needed to flourish in a biosciences career. Current field work opportunities range from researching animal behaviour at a wildlife reserve in Mankwe Reserve in South Africa, to studying alpine ecology in Switzerland.
You can also complete an internship as part of the course, giving you an edge on fellow graduates. Previous internships have included the government’s science labs at Porton Down Microbiology Base, West Midland Safari Park and local conservation trusts.
