Description:

Nursing practice in the 21st century is becoming increasingly demanding. Nurses play a key role, through their work in primary and secondary care settings, restoring and promoting health, supporting patients and their families, and profiling healthcare needs of communities.

In addition to the required medical knowledge and interpersonal skills traditionally associated with nursing, students have the opportunity to develop their knowledge of how to profile the health needs of any community, anywhere in the world. This aims to ensure that graduates are exceptionally well placed to meet the nursing needs of a changing world. This course is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), enabling students to register as a qualified nurse upon graduation.
