Description:

This course is for nurses and health workers who have an interest in improving patient health or in issues related to the wider arena of Public Health. The course aims to meet the needs of primary care, secondary care and independent sector nurses and paramedics who are interested in promoting health to prevent disease, or in supporting patients to change their health behaviours to avoid ill health or cope with or avoid chronic health problems, or to cope with disease associated with poverty.

Application Notes : For students whose first language isn't English, you will need an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5. Pre-sessional English is available if required.
Additional Admission Requirements:
    A diploma qualification, equivalent to UK Higher Education Diploma, in a health professional area is normally required. Alternatively an unclassified degree may form the foundation on which to top-up. However applications will be considered on an individual basis and work experience can be taken into account.
