Program Information

School:Redeemer University College
Degree:Bachelor
Field of Study:Philosophy
Description:If God is the source of all wisdom and knowledge, then the true philosopher is, essentially, a person passionate about cutting across all obstacles, looking under all stones, and contemplating questions from all angles, in pursuit of knowing and loving God more. Philosophy at Redeemer will certainly challenge your faith, but ultimately it aims at truth, and, as the Apostle Peter puts it, “giving reasons for the hope within you.”

Students at Redeemer will study alongside and in personal contact with two internationally-acclaimed professors, and more than a dozen of our philosophy students have even published with these professor-mentors. Because of the small, intimate but challenging nature of philosophy, our students have a very high employment rate with a number going on to become lawyers, pastors, professors, social workers, essayists and so on.
