Description:

The Customer Service Diploma program at Access Business College will prepare graduates with the diverse components of Customer Service and Office Management including coping with challenging customers, problem solving, strategy for formulating a plan for success and enhancing customer relationships. This diploma program will also prepare graduates of the college with courses that include office procedures such as time management, researching, summarizing and preparing to efficiently work effectively; with proficient communication skills that will teach useful techniques to write clearly, concisely and professionally. The wide range of topics will cover many aspects of running a modern office including: Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), office automation, correspondence, and customer service.

Graduates of the Customer Service Diploma course program will have the skills and education to compete with graduates of other Toronto colleges and universities for prime employment positions. Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have an OSSD (ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL DIPLOMA), or OSSD equivalent. Applicants must also have a mature student status (19 years and older).
    Test Scores:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 200] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 480] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 5.0]
    Application Notes : All applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate competence in the English language proficiency standard, through submission of an official score on written tests (TOEFL or IELTS).
