Horticulture apprenticeships link learning and employment by providing apprentices the opportunity to further their education, while maintaining full-time employment in the horticulture industry. Technical training is split into three levels. Learn the basics of plant biology, pest and soil management, and business in levels 1 and 2. Focus on the skills required to operate a commercial nursery including field and container nursery production, plant propagation, and plant health management, in level 3.
