Description:

This program is offered collaboratively by the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences. Admission requirements are the same as for the home department to which the applicant is applying. Students in this program are registered in one of the two departments. Students are required to take the same total number of courses and have the same thesis/project requirements as other students in their home department This program combines biomedical and epidemiological subject matters with a solid grounding in statistical theory and methodology and is directed toward students who are preparing for a career as a biostatistician in government, industry or academia.

Permission of home department supervisor to participate in the Collaborative Program.
Supervisor must be an associated faculty member or be willing to become associated with the Centre.
